The mission of Myron Stratton Home, in accordance with Winfield Scott Stratton's will, is to support impoverished individuals lacking means of self-support due to old age, youth, sickness, or other disabilities. This support is manifested through housing, programs, services, and grants aimed at enhancing the quality of life for these disadvantaged groups.
The Myron Stratton Home Grants Program is guided by a commitment to support vulnerable populations who are unable to earn a livelihood due to age, youth, sickness or infirmity. It makes direct grants—twice annually—to organizations that serve the poor elderly, low‑income children and families, and individuals with infirmities, emphasizing projects that enhance or expand existing programs or launch new collaborative initiatives which avoid duplication of services.
