Grief Reach: Capacity Building $20,000

Grief Reach: Capacity Building, offered by the National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG) in partnership with the New York Life Foundation, is designed to strengthen the internal operations, infrastructure, and long‑term sustainability of U.S.-based nonprofit organizations that serve bereaved children and youth. This grant program supports organizations through two strategic focus areas:

1. Organizational Development & Planning – funding activities such as strategic planning, infrastructure improvements, fundraising, communications, volunteer engagement, and business planning.
2. Strategic Relationships & Collaborations – supporting initiatives like consultant support, technical assistance, partnerships, mergers/restructuring, or joint business planning.
