Parkview aims to improve the health of individuals in all communities it serves. It achieves this through its Community Health Improvement Program, providing traditional patient care and health services beyond its facility walls. Parkview collaborates with and supports community organizations to address unmet health needs through initiatives, including program and event support.
The grant focuses on supporting organizations that align with Parkview's mission to enhance community health. Grants are aimed at health initiatives related to Access to Health Care, Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors, Prenatal Care, and Mental Health. To be considered, projects must have clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and a methodology for evaluation. Priority is given to efforts targeting diverse, underserved, and at-risk populations and those promoting collaborative relationships among community organizations. Funding supports program and operational expenses, with a preference for projects that demonstrate support from other community sources. The selection process is annual, and compliance with the Funding Agreement is required for continued support.
