The funder's mission is to improve outcomes for patients with advanced prostate cancer and to advance research, innovation, clinical expertise, and education for healthcare professionals in Latin America.
This grant program seeks to support investigations into the efficiency and return on investment of applying patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in the care of adult oncology patients. It specifically encourages studies that outline the necessary resources versus the financial and qualitative returns of PROMs programs, without mandating a formal cost-analysis. Projects may involve primary data gathering, secondary data analyses, or various analytical models using different research methodologies. Although the focus is on breast cancer, prostate cancer, and hematologic malignancies, studies that include these and other solid tumors are also welcomed, aiming to provide valuable insights for decision-makers in healthcare settings considering or currently housing PROM programs.
