The Mount Carroll Community Foundation aims to support charitable projects and programs that improve the quality of life in the Mount Carroll community. It is part of the Quad Cities Community Foundation, focusing on enhancing community well-being through its endowment earnings.
The Operations and Program Grant program, formerly known as the Coordinated Field of Interest Grant program, is designed to provide both general operating support or targeted program support to nonprofit organizations. The program emphasizes the importance of flexible and reliable funding, allowing for one-year or two-year funding requests. It simplifies the application process for nonprofits, enabling them to apply through a single application to be considered for multiple funding sources. The grants support a wide range of areas including, but not limited to, arts & culture, community development, education, health & wellness, and youth development. Specific funds under this program have their own focus areas, ranging from general operating and program requests, basic human needs, risk management and safety, youth programs, health and wellness initiatives, to educational opportunities for underserved children, among others.
