Rotary is a global network aimed at creating lasting change worldwide, in communities, and within individuals. For over 110 years, its members have worked on sustainable projects to better the world, focusing on areas like literacy, peace, water, and health with genuine commitment and vision.
The Norfolk Rotary Grant, through the Rotary Club of Norfolk's nonprofit affiliate and its endowment, annually supports 501(c)3 organizations performing significant work in the community, having distributed over $125,000 in the past three years. In 2024, grants will focus on three categories for organizations primarily serving Norfolk residents: literacy improvement for youth (ages pre-K to Grade 5), food insecurity, and mental health, with grants ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 depending on the category.
