St. Luke’s is committed to improving the health of people in the communities we serve. Through its Community Health Improvement Fund (CHIF), it aims to support health-advancing activities in the Idaho region, focusing on collaborative and equity-driven approaches.
The Community Health Improvement Fund Grants for Treasure Valley and Multi-Region are designed to support projects that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of local communities. These grants focus on initiating or expanding initiatives that address various health-related issues, promoting access to healthcare, and enhancing health education and prevention programs. The overarching goal is to foster healthier communities through strategic investments in health improvement projects that can show measurable outcomes and benefits to the population served. Specific causes supported may include, but are not limited to, disease prevention, mental health services, nutrition and physical activity promotion, and access to healthcare services.
