We are a UK charity driven by a team of volunteers passionate about the UK’s marine environments. Our mission is to support marine charities and not-for-profit organizations in the UK through grants aimed at conservation and research projects.
The grant program from this charity seeks to fund projects that contribute to marine conservation in the UK in one or more of the following ways: addressing the root causes of marine conservation threats and challenges, preventing or reducing negative impacts on the UK coastal and marine environments and species, and adding to the body of knowledge regarding marine conservation. A key emphasis is placed on grassroots projects that encourage community action and increase public participation in marine conservation efforts. Projects that seek partial funding, where other funds are already in place or being sought, will also be considered, provided they clearly demonstrate how the grant from Sea-Changers will be utilized within the project's broader financial context.
