    From Serve Indiana

    Type of Support

    Overview

Serve Indiana's mini-grant program aims to support Day of Service projects by providing financial resources. These projects should:

    • Demonstrate community connections and use of local resources.
    • Build the capacity of local national service programs through regional networking and co-planning.
    • Increase member and volunteer understanding and commitment to national service and volunteerism. The awards are based on application strength, financial need, and evidence of collaboration. All awards are reimbursable, and matching funds are required. Special focus is given to projects that honor the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance by paying tribute to victims, their families, and those who served in response, while also addressing immediate community needs or systemic issues. Grants are available in amounts of $500, $1,000, $2,500, and $5,000.
