Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s Donor Circle for the Arts aims to support emerging artists working with underserved populations and to expand arts opportunities for the diverse cultural communities in the Silicon Valley region. The Emergency and Disaster Relief Fund by SVCF supports nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and public entities involved in disaster response, relief, and recovery services in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. It aims to address the immediate needs and safety of those facing harsh situations during active emergencies. The grant program concentrates on the five phases of disaster - Response, Relief, Recovery, Rebuilding, and Resiliency/Preparedness, prioritizing the first three phases during an active emergency or disaster. This structure ensures comprehensive support from immediate action to long-term recovery and preparedness for future incidents.
