The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Foundation aims to enhance the well-being of employees and the performance of organizations through the science and application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The Distinguished Service Contributions Award recognizes individuals for their sustained, significant, and outstanding service to SIOP. This service can be demonstrated in various roles such as being an elected officer, committee chair, committee member, or a formal representative of SIOP to other organizations. Recipients are honored with a plaque and a $1,500 cash prize and are expected to serve a three-year term as a reviewer on the award's subcommittee starting the year after they receive the award.
