The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Foundation aims to enhance the well-being of employees and the performance of organizations through the science and application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The award, named in honor of P. Richard Jeanneret, is designed to recognize the author(s) of a work that significantly contributes to the advancement of understanding in individual or group assessment. Particularly, it focuses on works that support the creation of a diverse workforce. Eligible works include articles, reports, book chapters, and papers completed in the preceding calendar year. The grant aims to promote public and professional knowledge on the topic, encouraging ongoing research and practical achievements in individual or group assessment. Winners receive a plaque and a $1,500 cash prize. Submissions are judged based on scientific foundation, innovation, excellence in industrial-organizational psychology, and their contribution to diversity in the workforce through new assessment techniques.
