Type of Support

Overview

The SIOP Small Grant Program aims to support SIOP members in their research-related activities, encourage research in areas of interest to both practitioners and academicians within SIOP, and promote cooperation between academicians and practitioners by funding research with the potential to advance knowledge and practice in applied areas of interest to all SIOP members. The program prioritizes research investigating topics of interest to both academicians and practitioners, especially projects that involve cooperative efforts between these groups. Proposals are evaluated based on their significance to SIOP's academic and practitioner members, appropriateness of budget, quality of research approach, innovation, communicability to a wide audience, realistic timeframe, and the involvement of an academic-practitioner partnership.
