The SOT ToxScholar Program supports toxicologists in making presentations to undergraduate students at institutions offering associate and bachelor's degrees. Its goal is to provide undergraduates with exposure to toxicology and encourage their interest in toxicology as a career path. This is achieved through ToxScholar visits that can supplement course content in various undergraduate courses and through additional means such as career panels, journal clubs, seminar series, or student clubs. The emphasis is also placed on informal interactions with students to further enhance their learning experience. Participants are required to submit a report and write a post detailing their experiences to help track the program's impact and inspire others to conduct ToxScholar visits.
