    The mission of the Durham Cerebral Palsy Foundation Fund, held at Triangle Community Foundation, is to provide assistance to North Carolina children living with cerebral palsy. Established in 1951, it supports the purchase of necessary equipment and services to enhance the lives of children affected by cerebral palsy.

    The grant program focuses on nonprofits in the Triangle serving youth ages 5-24, especially targeting those from low-income backgrounds, low-performing/resourced schools, with disabilities, limited English proficiency, of color, and LGBTQIA+ youth. The emphasis is on empowering young leaders and addressing mental health, social-emotional learning, and academic support. Grants are $25,000 over two years for general operating support, planning 20 awards in this cycle with intentions to continue funding in future years.
