    Type of Support

    Overview

The grant program issued by UWDOR is designed to support nonprofit organizations that align with United Way’s goals in health, education, financial stability, and veterans support. For the period of July 2024 to June 2025, United Way has allocated funding in varying amounts: up to $30,000 for previously funded programs and up to $10,000 for new program requests. Selected programs may be eligible for additional funding in subsequent years, based on performance and compliance with United Way’s requirements. The grants focus on reducing hunger and increasing access to healthy foods, fostering educational success through literacy and out-of-school learning opportunities, establishing a foundation for financial stability, and enhancing housing and legal services for veterans. United Way seeks partners committed to significant community impacts, collaborative strategy development, and the use of evidence-based or informed models for long-term success.
