    Overview

The broad goal of the PPPP (Pilot Prioritization Process Program) is to support and fund data-driven approaches for planning in the transportation sector, focusing on projects that can be publicly and transparently prioritized for inclusion in transportation plans both in the short and long term. The program aims to allocate up to $10 million each fiscal year, with no more than $2 million per award, to projects that meet specific eligibility and selection criteria. These prioritization process pilots are intended to integrate existing transportation program components and support projects that enhance safety, address climate change and sustainability, promote equity, and strengthen economic vigor and global competitiveness, aligning with the Department of Transportation’s strategic objectives.
