The EMDP grant program is dedicated to supporting projects that undertake resource inventories and assessments, feasibility studies, or other pre-development studies essential for the utilisation and development of various energy and mineral resources. These resources encompass a wide range including biomass for power and heat, transportation fuels, different forms of electricity generation (hydroelectric, solar, wind, geothermal), district heating, distributed energy generation, and various materials (oil, natural gas, helium, coal, precious/base minerals). The projects may involve initial resource exploration, target development identification, market analysis for product demand, economic evaluations, baseline studies for energy/mineral projects, and any other preliminary studies or activities aimed at fostering the utilization and development of energy and mineral resources.
