The Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs leads Department efforts to expand and strengthen the relationships between the people of the United States and citizens of other countries.
The grant program aims to promote study abroad by increasing the number of Japanese students attending U.S. graduate schools. It focuses on facilitating programs that are innovative and creative in achieving this goal. Eligible applicants include American and/or Japanese non-profit organizations that can manage and administer these programs across a variety of fields.
