The mission of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) focuses on preventing juvenile delinquency and improving the juvenile justice system. The grant aims to support national mentoring organizations in their efforts to increase and enhance mentoring services for children and youth who are potentially at-risk or highly susceptible to juvenile delinquency, victimization, and involvement in the juvenile justice system. It is specifically targeted at national organizations, which are defined as those having active operations or partnerships (affiliates or subawardees) in at least 45 states, to ensure a broad and impactful reach.
