    Overview

The Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) Alternative Funding Arrangements (AFA) for FY 2024 focuses on incentivizing partners to collaborate on conservation projects that tackle key natural resource issues on agricultural lands. It is rooted in three principles: impactful solutions that address one or more natural resource concerns, leveraging partner contributions of cash and in-kind resources to complement NRCS investments, and fostering effective partnerships and management. Successful applicants will bring financial and technical capabilities, demonstrate collaborative experience with agricultural producers, and propose innovative and sustainable methods for significant conservation results. The program gives priority to projects that engage historically underserved farmers and ranchers, aiming for impactful, measurable conservation outcomes.
