The WCRF Board of Directors is committed to using a majority of its annual donations received from the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort to support community development through grants. These grants aim to enhance community vitality by supporting projects in community development, economic growth, education and the arts, and human and social needs.
The Competitive Fund - Spring Cycle focuses on awarding grants to projects that fall under four main areas: Community Development and Beautification, Economic Development, Education and Arts, and Human and Social Needs. Priority is given to initiatives that promote neighborhood revitalization, economic self-sufficiency for families, innovative educational programs, and services that address the needs of underserved populations. The program seeks to serve as a catalyst in building the capacity of both the public and nonprofit sectors to manage and plan projects effectively, with an overarching goal of improving the quality of life within the community.
