The Alaska Humanities Forum connects Alaskans through stories, ideas, and experiences that inspire understanding and strengthen communities. It envisions a culturally diverse, economically vibrant, and equitable Alaska where people are engaged, informed, and connected.
The Dialogues Grants aim to create thoughtfully crafted spaces for Alaskans to engage in conversations about the state's past, present, and future. These grants, up to $3,000 each, support public programming that brings people together to learn from each other and inspire deeper understanding of topics important to Alaskans. Potential projects could include facilitated community conversations, forums, and other gatherings designed for participants to share perspectives and learn from one another. Between five to seven grants are intended to be awarded.
