    Overview

    The AMS Graduate Fellowship in the History of Science is designed to support students completing dissertations in the history of the atmospheric, or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. It aims to promote dissertation research in these areas and encourages establishing mentoring relationships between historians and scientists. The fellowship includes a $20,000 stipend to support one year of research, which can be conducted away from the student's home institution with approval.
