To promote the growth and development of plant biology, to encourage and publish research in plant biology, and to promote the interests, growth, and education of plant scientists in general.
The program seeks to broaden participation and reduce financial barriers for early‑career scientists in plant biology by providing travel support to attend the annual meeting of the Society. It specifically supports undergraduate students, graduate students, post‑doctoral researchers, pre‑tenure faculty, and professionals just beginning their careers in plant science who are members of ASPB (residency in the U.S. is not required).
