    Overview

The Women's Young Investigator Travel Awards program by the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) aims to enhance the presence of early-career female investigators in the field of plant biology. This initiative specifically supports those within the first five years of their academic faculty-level positions, government or corporate research scientist roles, and experienced postdoctoral researchers. The recipients of this award are expected to contribute to their respective fields while representing academic, corporate, or government institutions. For the Plant Biology 2024 event in Honolulu, HI, the society has allocated $7,000, intending to distribute this fund in increments of $1,000 to support the travel expenses of the awardees.
