The Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV) aims to advance preventative medicine, husbandry, and scientific research in veterinary medicine concerning reptiles and amphibians, while promoting their conservation and humane treatment through education, captive breeding, and habitat preservation. The ARAV Research & Conservation Grant supports clinically-oriented and conservation research projects involving reptiles and/or amphibians, with a maximum award of $5,000.Priority is given to proposals that are clinically oriented, conservation-based, or submitted by ARAV members.
