For 93 years, Mac's Toy Fund has been dedicated to ensuring families in Raleigh County experience a special Christmas. By providing toys, coats, bikes, and other necessities to families in need, they aim to spread holiday cheer and support within the community.
BAF funds projects in Raleigh County that fall within several categories including Animal Services, Arts, Basic Needs, Civic Beautification, Economic Development, Education, Health and Human Services, and Public Recreation. The grant prioritizes innovative projects, seed money for pilot projects or new organizations, initiatives serving significant numbers or under-served residents, capital and equipment needs, matching grants to leverage additional funding, projects that empower organizations for ongoing financial support, and sudden or urgent needs.
