The Rachael Ray Foundation is motivated by Rachael Ray’s desire to support causes close to her heart, notably aiding animals in need. Funded by proceeds from Rachael’s pet food brand, Nutrish, the Foundation focuses on animal welfare initiatives, aspiring to create a significant, positive impact for animals across the United States.
The Rachael Ray Save Them All Grants are designed to increase the lifesaving efforts of cats and dogs in U.S. shelters. The grant program welcomes proposals from both public and private shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations, with a focus on projects that have a significant impact on shelter lifesaving efforts. Eligible projects may range from singular events/programs to those encompassing multiple initiatives. These projects may include implementing community intake prevention services, increasing Return to Field or adoption rates through working cat programs, providing advanced medical care for at-risk pets, expanding return to owner efforts by waiving fees, enriching shelter environments for large, at-risk dogs, offering training and behavior services for at-risk dogs in shelters, and facilitating the transfer of at-risk populations from targeted shelters. Applicants are encouraged to review their region’s funding priorities to ensure alignment with the grant's objectives.
