The Chisholm Community Foundation’s mission is to be a steward of funds for innovative and creative projects, responsive to community and economic development in areas of social service, education, arts, and culture, conservation, and historic and environmental preservation.
The Chisholm Community Foundation Grants support projects that enhance the community in four main areas: Arts/Culture, Economic Development, Education, and Historic and Environmental Preservation. Priority is given to projects that receive matching funds or challenge grants, encourage efficient use of community resources, promote volunteer participation, benefit children and the elderly, demonstrate new problem-solving approaches, and are developed in consultation with other agencies to promote cooperation and reduce service duplication.
