Native Voices Rising provides general operating support grants primarily aimed at strengthening Native-led groups that have a substantial membership base in the community. These groups should work towards developing leadership and engage in collective action for progressive social change. To be eligible, organizations must be rooted in a Native community and led by Native people. The focus is on groups that engage a large number of community members to act together and seek to improve policies and rules impacting their communities. Native Voices Rising generally offers grants averaging $30,000, with a range from $20,000 to $40,000.
