The mission of the Floyd “Vic” Hooker Youth Fund is to carry on Vic Hooker's legacy by supporting the youth in Tioga County, New York.
The grant provided by the Northeastern Potter Economic Development Association, in partnership with the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers, aims to support non-profit organizations (including 501(c)(3) agencies or charitable programs) located in the northeastern area of Potter County. Eligible locations include several townships and boroughs within the jurisdiction of the Northern Potter School District. The grant program has $1175 available, which may be distributed among two or more applicants, based on decisions made by the Grant Committee. The broad goals of the grant are to enhance the community's quality of life through economic support. This competitive grant program focuses on job creation and retention, strategic planning initiatives, and community promotion/awareness as key areas for project consideration.
