The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley helps philanthropists support the causes closest to their heart while connecting local residents to the resources they need for a better quality of life.
The grant program allows for rolling application submission, encouraging Mahoning Valley organizations to apply at any time. Funding decisions are typically announced within three months post each grant cycle deadline. Although there are no specific priority areas identified, the grant focuses on addressing the needs of the Mahoning Valley community and its residents. The review and approval of grants are in line with the philanthropic interests of fund holders within the Community Foundation that participate in the grantmaking process.
Preference is extended to applicants involved with the Healthy Community Partnership and who share its collective vision and objectives. Organizations not yet part of the Healthy Community Partnership are encouraged to reach out to us for connection opportunities.
