The Ramble Charitable Fund aims to improve the quality of life in designated Buncombe County communities through supporting education, economic development, health care, and other projects that promote community development.
The Highlands Community Fund (HCF) primarily supports projects with charitable purposes by providing grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Exceptions for grants of different amounts may be made at the discretion of the HCF Advisory Board. Priority is given to requests that demonstrate significant community benefit. Applications should include an endorsement letter if another organization besides the applicant will benefit from the grant. Additionally, funded projects are expected to be completed within one year of receiving the grant funds.
