The McDowell Endowment provides grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 for charitable purposes that benefit the communities and residents of McDowell County. It focuses on projects that demonstrate significant community benefit and may, at its discretion, consider requests for amounts outside this range. Applications should include a letter of endorsement if a different organization will benefit from the grant. Projects should be completed within one year of receiving the funds.
