The Cooke Foundation aims to support initiatives in the community that significantly contribute to the betterment and welfare of the people of Hawai`i.
The grant program focuses on broad goals of improving community welfare and betterment in Hawai`i through support in key areas: arts, culture, humanities; education; environment; and human services. The Foundation is open to funding projects in other areas at the Trustees' discretion, although unsolicited proposals outside its priority interests are not considered. Grants may be provided over several years, with annual payments contingent on satisfactory progress reports.
