Our 'Vision' is that people living with a physical and/or mental disability or a long-term illness should have the same choices, quality of life opportunities, and aspirations as others more fortunate than themselves.
The grant program supports charities with a gross annual income under £5M, providing services for individuals living with disabilities and/or long-term illnesses. It includes two main grant streams: Small Grants, aimed at small to medium-sized charities needing urgent support of up to £5K for maintaining existing services, with a fast-tracked application process and a spend requirement within 6 months; and Capital Grants for funding over £5K towards new projects, excluding operational costs. The themes focus on Health and Wellbeing, Independent Living at Home, Respite, and Transition, supporting a range of services from access to clinical services and home independence aids to respite care and life skill development for community integration and independence.
