EPOC is dedicated to supporting individuals pursuing careers in the environmental industry, particularly focusing on aiding Connecticut residents or family members of EPOC members in becoming Technical Environmental Professionals or related roles through educational scholarships.
The EPOC Grant Program is aimed at supporting non-profit and not-for-profit environmental advocacy groups, community-based organizations, and environmental education entities. It seeks to fund projects that offer tangible environmental benefits within Connecticut. This includes, but is not limited to, efforts such as property and watershed cleanups, reforestation, biodiversity enhancement, streamside buffer restoration, environmental condition monitoring, and hazardous waste collection initiatives. The program also shows a keen interest in projects that foster environmental education and prepare the youth for careers within the environmental sector.
