The mission of the Fairfield Community Foundation is to enhance and strengthen the quality of life for citizens of Greater Fairfield. Established in 1999 by dedicated residents of Fairfield and Fairfield Township, the Foundation became an affiliate of the Hamilton Community Foundation in July 2022, benefiting from their administrative support, guidance, and philanthropic expertise. The foundation is focused on identifying and addressing the needs of the greater Fairfield community, leveraging increased resources and reduced fees for donors through this partnership.
The Community Grant Fund of the Fairfield Community Foundation offers unrestricted community grants, made possible by the generosity and vision of Fairfield donors. These grants aim to empower the Foundation Advisory board to address current and future needs within Fairfield and Fairfield Township. Specifically, grants are awarded to support nonprofit organizations operating in these areas, ensuring that the immediate and evolving needs of the community are met.
