    Overview

The Thriving Communities Grant focuses on supporting youth and young adults in the Sherman Park and North Division neighborhoods through a comprehensive approach grounded in community feedback. Key priorities include professional skills and career development for youths aged 16-24 to address underemployment and its cascading effects, as well as after-school programming, social and emotional support, and health and wellness activities for youths aged 10-18. These initiatives are aimed at filling critical gaps in support systems and fostering positive community engagement and development.
