The Worcester County Food Bank aims to create a hunger-free Worcester County by supporting nonprofit organizations dedicated to addressing food insecurity.
The Youth for Community Improvement (YCI) Fund, under the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, seeks proposals from nonprofit organizations within Worcester County that promote youth voice. Proposals should illustrate the empowerment of young people through leadership roles, decision-making power, or involvement in program organization. Funding priorities, determined annually by the YCI class, include mental health awareness and access to care, educational support programs offering alternative pathways and college support, and initiatives ensuring access to basic needs like housing, food, and hygiene items. Grants are capped at $5,000.
