The Green Bay Packers Foundation's mission is to support charities that: promote a community environment beneficial for families and athletics, contribute to player and fan welfare, ensure the safety and education of children, and prevent cruelty to animals. This mission forms part of the broader community outreach initiative known as Green Bay Packers Give Back.
The Green Bay Packers Foundation grant program aims to support organizations working within specific focus areas identified for a given year in a three-year cycle, emphasizing the importance of addressing community needs across a wide spectrum including the elderly, homelessness, human services, hunger, arts and culture, athletics, education, animal welfare, civic and community engagement, environment, and health and wellness topics. Organizations are allowed to submit one grant application per cycle, with the application period open from May 1 to July 1 annually. The specific focus areas are designated for each year within the three-year cycle, ensuring a diverse range of community needs are met.
