The Grey Muzzle Organization is dedicated to creating a world where every senior dog thrives and no old dog dies alone and afraid. Their mission focuses on improving the lives of at-risk senior dogs across the United States.
The Grey Muzzle Organization grants aim at supporting programs that enhance the lives of at-risk senior dogs. They fund shelters, rescue groups, sanctuaries, and other nonprofits engaged in activities that aid senior dogs. Grants, ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, support various initiatives including foster care for senior dogs, preventing the surrender of senior dogs due to economic hardship, medical care to increase adoption chances, hospice care, long-term non-adoptable dog care, rehoming assistance, therapy dog training, and seniors-for-seniors adoption programs. These grants have distributed $2,500,000 to senior dog programs since 2008.
