The mission of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City is to promote tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world) by being an advocate for planned giving and a resource for personalized charitable funds for the community.
The J-LEAD grant program awards grants of $5,000 or less to projects that positively impact the Jewish community. Its main objectives include funding services and programs that are Jewish in nature, supporting organizations serving the Jewish community in the Greater Kansas City area, and backing projects that are innovative and collaborative.
