The Morgan Hill Community Foundation (MHCF) aims to support local nonprofit organizations and public schools through grants, enhancing community welfare and educational opportunities.
The MHCF grant cycle aims to distribute funding through multiple awards to local charitable non-profit organizations and schools for projects or activities in the areas of Recreation, Arts & Culture, Agriculture & Environment, Education & Lifelong Learning, Science & Technology, Health & Human Services. Funds can support ongoing or new initiatives that serve or benefit the Morgan Hill community directly. Proposed projects must address specific needs, such as assistance for those impacted severely by COVID-19, including meals for at-risk individuals, support for those facing severe financial difficulties due to the pandemic, help for small businesses struggling to secure loans, aid for the disabled, low-income families and individuals, educational projects due to shelter in place orders, and services for victims of domestic violence or severe family dysfunction exacerbated by COVID-19 among other community needs.
