The NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants Program aims to bolster positive change in local communities through financial support to nonprofit organizations. With $225,000 available for distribution, the program focuses on the following key areas: Youth Education and Empowerment, with an emphasis on in-school and out-of-school programs that provide essential tools for success, including STEM/STEAM education and youth entrepreneurship; Next Generation Storytellers, aimed at expanding access and creating opportunities for emerging talent and diverse voices in arts, news, sports, and entertainment; and Community Engagement, supporting initiatives that foster individual participation and volunteerism within communities.
