The Robeson County Community Foundation (RCCF) aims to build community assets through the creation of permanent endowments, grants, and leadership in Robeson County. Founded in 2005 and guided by a local volunteer advisory board, RCCF facilitates local philanthropy by making it accessible for individuals of any means to support local causes, either by opening an endowment for their favorite cause or contributing to an existing fund.
The Community Grantmaking Program is designed to support charitable organizations in 67 counties within North Carolina, focusing on a variety of needs including strengthening local communities, supporting families, education, and services for veterans, active military personnel, and their families. Grants, often ranging from $500 to $1,500, are provided through the Friends of BOMA Charitable Endowment for charitable uses specifically in Wake and Durham Counties.
