The Nusenda Foundation's primary giving program, Community Rewards®, focuses on supporting the well-being of New Mexico communities through grants to nonprofit organizations. These grants are awarded to organizations that have a measurable, positive impact in one of five focus areas: Education, Healthcare, Environment & Wildlife, The Arts, and Community Services & Support. Criteria for selection include alignment with Nusenda Credit Union and Nusenda Foundation’s values, organization history and financials, successful program implementation, and overall impact and performance. Grant amounts typically range from $2,500 to $15,000, although full funding of requests is not guaranteed.
