The broad goal of the Racial Justice Initiative grant program is to fund projects that contribute to lasting racial justice and institutional change. It aims at supporting efforts that directly confront and work to dismantle systemic racism, making the pursuit of justice and the public's understanding of the rule of law more accessible and equitable to historically marginalized communities of color in Ohio. The initiative has granted $788,865 since its inception in 2020 to projects aligned with these objectives.
