De Colores Rapid Response Fund

The broad goal of the De Colores Rapid Response Fund is to offer quick, short-term financial support to enhance dynamic, positive opportunities for community organizing, rather than for emergency response or technical assistance. Specifically, the fund supports:

• Organizing efforts in U.S. grassroots communities, especially those focusing on communities of color, and poor and working-class populations;
• Strategic intervention opportunities, reminiscent of pivotal moments in social movements such as Ferguson, Baltimore, Occupy, and responses to events like Hurricane Maria or the #MeToo movement;
• Projects that aim for new and strategic shifts in social and community paradigms, targeting unanticipated events that require urgent action with clear goals and outcomes.
